Co-founder of CP Builders. My passion for building began early, at 14. I poured a concrete driveway at my childhood home and built a new concrete fence in my backyard while my father was working abroad. After college, I found my purpose when I began my career as a project manager for an international mechanical engineering contractor based in London. Within that position, I worked on military bases and high-rise office buildings in London.

After eventually finding my way to Santa Barbara, I started my own construction company. Working for a client led to a unique opportunity to join a national homebuilding company and start a new division on the Central Coast. As the division’s president for 20 years, I managed the design and development of multiple subdivision projects in Santa Barbara and Ventura County, resulting in the construction of approximately 850 new homes. Following this experience, I decided to return to my roots as a full-time general contractor, specializing in building beautiful, hand-crafted homes.

At CP Builders, I draw on my vast construction experience to provide clients with guidance and solutions. I have learned that construction requires knowledge, but most importantly, experience, and that is what we provide.

My business partner and CFO, Michael O’Flynn, is a CPA with whom I have worked with for over 20 years. Together, we form an experienced team with a strong operational foundation built on effective project management, budget control, and scheduling for both large and small construction jobs. To achieve our results, we rely on the qualified specialty subcontractors we’ve worked with over the years. These local trade partners understand our requirements and standards, ensuring your project is completed with attention to detail and cost considerations.
